Putty glazed wood sashes

We manufacture historical putty glazed wood storm windows, rope and weight double hung sashes, and true divided light wood sashes. All sashes are manufactured in solid clear northern white or sugar pine and 50-year rot proof accoya wood. All sash manufactured with traditional mortise and tenoned construction. We assemble all sash with corrosion resistant stainless steel brad pins. All monolithic glass is installed with the highest quality Sarco brand glazing putty.

Insulated glass options

 We also manufacture modified historical sash with Cardinal insulated glass including high performance Lo-E insulated options. They can greatly improve energy efficiency. We produce a solid beveled profile exterior to mimic the look of putty glazing and shed water away from the window and install interior wood glazing beads. Great for swing in or swing out casement windows in addition to fixed sashes.

 

Storm sashes manufactured at 1-1/8" thick - we also manufacture 3/4" thick half screens and 1-1/8" thick full wood screens for rope and weight double hung windows. 

Double hung and casement sashes at 1-3/8", 1-3/4" and 2-1/4" thick - manufactured to any size and also available in most any thickness to match your original.

We also provide decorator pre-finishing for our sash work (clients will pay our decorator directly via check).
